Early Life and Education

South Korea boasts one of the fastest rappers, Min Yoon-gi. Popularly known as Suga, this renowned songwriter was born on 9th March 1993. His birthplace is Daegu, South Korea.

While he has an elder brother, no one knows his name or those of his parents. Suga was born in a relatively low-income family.

He attended Taejeon Elementary School and Gwaneum Middle School before going to Apguejeong High School. He then graduated from Global Cyber University with a degree in Broadcasting Performing Art.

Min Yoon-gi started listening to hip-hop songs when he was 12. Some of his favorite artists were Stony Skunk and Epik High. This encouraged him to start writing his music as soon as he turned 13.

Career
