Baker was born on 22nd April 1990 in Houston, Texas. As a child, he lived and grew up in several places, given that his parents were missionaries.

He attended high school at the Shakur Heights High School in Cleveland. In 2006, while still in high school, Baker released his first rap mixtape.

Working with major labels quickly propelled him to stardom, where he could contend with big names in the industry such as Eminem. It also landed him side gigs such as working on a clothing line with Young & Restless.
Baker has since released immensely successful albums, singles, and collaborations, including: ‘General Admission’ Bad Things,’ ‘At my Best,’ ‘Go for Broke,’ ‘My Ex’s Best Frien,’ ‘Tickets to my Downfall’ among others.
For the longest time, Baker had beef with Eminem, which according to critics, was a blessing in disguise.
